In almost zero oC temp, a group of Indian-American “Chhath Parv Samiti”, some even drove a few hundred miles, gathered at Bharatiya Temple, Chelfont to celebrate Chhath Parv. It has been an overwhelming response as increasing number of friends and families joined the Chhath Parv Samiti to celebrate the Parv this year.
Chhath Parv Samiti thanks to our Nepali American friends and devotees of Anta-Gnyc Chapter) who drove all the way from Delavare, some from New Jersey, some drove from far from mount Poconos.
Chhath Parv Samiti, Bharatiya Temple, Chelfont announces to make the celebration bigger next year. Thanks to the all the friends and families and our most valuable members,Rupam Mishra, Shalini Sharma, Ritu Debjit Saha, Shakti Priyadarshini, Mahua Chakraborty, Leena Das , Abha Das Mallik, Shishir Singh, Richa Jaiswal, Vinay Mishra, Amulya Sharma, Soni Gupta, Minakshi Singh, Priti Nigam, Laxmi Bhandari, Radhika Venkat, Kiran Dahale, Nilu Jha Khatiwada and Rekha Mallik Karna . We also thank Anta-Gnyc Chapter for joining the celebration this year.
